How the clinic worked
Rubes Levada, a former Italian national team finswimmer and then a coach in Croatia, led the clinic together with Croatian international finswimmers, including Anita Čavužić, Dora Bassi and Filip Strikinac, who demonstrated technique in the water. Coaches and athletes from several Spanish clubs took part.
- Pool sessions for athletes, led together with the club coaches
- Coach briefings before and after every session
- Theory lessons for swimmers and for coaches
- Technique work on bi-fins and monofin: starts, turns, finishes and race skills
This "coach-the-coaches" format is now our standard coach clinic.
